My experience with USDR
I would just like to say that the people I have dealt with at USDR ( and you know who you are) have gone above and beyond for me in handling my situation, this is without a doubt the best move that I could have possibly made. Anyone that is currently dealing with financial difficulties and considering bankruptcy should contact USDR as soon as possible and you will soon be resting easier knowing that a fantastic group of professionals are taking care of you.
You are not alone
Debt was keeping me up at night. It was the most stressful part of my life, always bubbling just below the surface of my awareness, every day. I had gone from self-employment to looking for a job and it took longer to secure a full time job than I had hoped. I was very reluctant to seek help because I am very independent and felt it was my responsibility, no matter how tough things got, to take care of it on my own. After many months of worrying I finally sought financial advice. I asked several financial professionals, and I had 3 options: Consumer Credit Counseling (affiliated with the credit card companies), debt resolution, or bankruptcy. I was determined not to declare bankruptcy, so I was down to 2 options. They calculated that, with the principle and interest on my credit cards, I was going to be paying for the next 22 years, even if I never charged another thing! After hearing that, I realized I needed to work on lowering the principle, reaching an agreement, and facing the debt head on. That is why I chose US Debt Resolve. It felt like jumping into the deep end when I first decided, but now that I have been a client for 6 months I find that I have all the support I need. They are there for me, no matter what the issue may be. They act as my guardians and advocates. Things come up in this process, and I have always had quick action and lots of help available for me in every instance. I do my part and they do theirs. We are a team, working together to get me out of debt once and for all. It was a hard decision to make, but it was the right one. I wish I had called sooner. I meant well, but pride was not getting me anywhere but further in debt. Now, in less than 3 years I will be debt free. I learned that taking responsibility for my debts could also mean taking action.
